7 tricks of Google to fly by plane
Booking a flight can be a really stressful experience. The offers, low cost and not, are many, and prices continue to change from minute to minute. To make planning a trip easier, Google Flights exists . The search engine finds the best flights based on the preferences expressed by the user: choose the flights based on the preference of departure, landing and stopovers.
The site also includes a number of tips and tricks that can really make a difference, and dwarf any travel agency.
Do not you believe it? try it yourself.
1. Destination uncertain? You can select a large area, and see the costs of flights on the map.
Typing, for example, on Google “flights to Europe to America” and clicking on the “Flights” drop-down menu a map of the entire continent will appear, along with the related pieces. In this way you can compare how much it costs to fly to London or Paris, and if you want you can filter the results by airline, flight duration and target price.

2. Or try the sort with the “I’m feeling lucky” option and leave it to Google
Exactly as it does for search results, “I feel lucky” works the same way with flights. By clicking on the map within Google Flight, you will have to choose the place of departure and press the “I feel lucky” button. Google will choose a destination based on search history, matching it with current trends, suggesting when flights will cost less.
3. Google will communicate which is the best deal
The “Best flights” section shows which flights are the best combination of price and speed, highlighting the most convenient choices in green. It’s a bit like having your travel agent say “I was in her, I would do that”.
4. Also show what is the cheapest day to fly
The days when you spend less to fly are highlighted in green. A column chart on the bottom of the screen indicates the forecasts of price changes in the following days.

5. Savings options are suggested
Looking for a flight that has similar but less expensive options, the Tip bar shows how much you save by flying more pesto, later or from another airport.
6. On the cell phone you can receive notifications before the prices splash in the air
Using Google Flights from your mobile phone, you receive notifications to keep track of price changes, especially if they are about to increase. This feature is not available for all routes and you can not select when to make them appear, but they are extremely useful for understanding how much time is left to book the flight. Pay attention when you receive them!
7. Once you have decided on the flight you are interested in, let Google monitor it for you
“Save the itinerary” allows you to store your chosen flight, and let the Google app control the price change.
