Does anyone have any information of the Railway Engine Works that was on the Stafford Road near the ECC (Electric Construction Company ) in the 60’s. I was an apprentice in those days and wondered if there should be a Blue Plaque to commemorate this magnificant works.
Mark I have placed this enquiry On our People and Places page under Factory Life. With a picture of the last engine to be repaired at Stafford Road, in hope it will get a better response. And also I have placed a link on our Facebook Group
