Hi folks… my name is Nick and this is my first post on this forum. I was born in Penn in the late sixties, and my childhood memories of Wolverhampton are ones of derelict factories and wasteland after we moved to live by the Bushbury island in the mid seventies. I moved to Wednesbury about 20 odd years ago, and on my trips to the city I always find that it has changed even more. One of my teenage memories was getting my haircut in my late teens at a salon in the rear of a tobacconists opposite the Art Gallery in the city centre. The walls were covered in Wolves memorabilia until it was taken over around about 1990, when everything was replaced with pictures of spitfires and motorbikes… does anyone have any info on the owner?
