On friday 19th of September at 2.oopmI shall be talking about The life and times of Edmund Francis Allen and his music store in Queen Street Wolverhampton .I shall be repeating this show on the 8th of October at 5.00pm at the Archives (The Old Molineux Hotel).

Fascinating advertising material. Edmund Francis Allen is my GGG – Grandfather. Apart from usual generational research, I don’t know a lot about E.F. Allen & Sons Ltd (music store) business interests in Queen St. Wolverhampton between 1850 – 1920. Following his death 1874, the business was run by Sons Alfred Edmund Allen, Charles Sidney Allen and Elliot Walter Allen. Can anyone input. Thanks
